Kampala event on knowledge and renewable energy

On 10 April 2019, the Ugandan Knowledge Partnership, part of the global Knowledge for Development Partnership, will be holding a one-day event at Makerere University with the Ugandan Sector Partnership Renewable Energy. This is the second Knowledge for Development Partnership event to take place in Uganda.

The Ugandan Knowledge Partnership was inaugurated in August 2018 to connect institutions, organizations and citizens driving Uganda’s transformation to a knowledge-society. The inputs given so far through workshops and individual contributions have been put together for a first draft version of the Ugandan Knowledge Agenda which will be presented at this meeting. From there specific knowledge targets for the renewable energy sector will be discussed, and a sector knowledge partnership for renewable energy shall be formed.
