Abagusii Indigenous Knowledge Capture by Kisii University, Kenya
The Abagusii of Western Kenya are and have been an oral community. Their values have been passed from generation to generation verbally or by demonstrations. Very little is documented about these belief systems, which was very good. Being a working librarian and having been trained in audio-visual archiving, I know I can help capture this knowledge for posterity and inform our way of life with relevant support. The
management of Kisii University, being in this locality, can be encouraged to take up this project and provide a lead.
