Accra/Vienna, April 2021. K4DP and FARA – Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa are successfully running the KM4AgD Challenge from September to December 2021 as an educational and transformational programme. 28 representatives of African countries participate in the programme to learn about KM and to find solutions for 10 outstanding KM Challenges in the agricultural sector. The results, including 10 National Knowledge Policy Briefs and KM case studies, have been presented at the concluding highlight-event, the maiden African Knowledge Management for Agricultural Development Conference, taking place from 7-9 December 2021 in Accra/online. On that occasion, the Accra Declaration, including the Continental Knowledge Management for Agricultural Development Agenda” was signed.

The participants were awarded “Certified Knowledge Managers for Sustainable Development”.

The KM4AgD Challenge will be continued on an annual basis. The KM4AgD Challenge 2022 will start in June 2022.
